Formed in 1969, the mission of the Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA, is to protect the land, air, and water. Some of the more prominent regulations include:
- the Clean Air Act,
- the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act,
- the Clean Water Act, and
- Sara Title III.
